TempHome is a full service temporary housing provider. The moment an adjuster contacts TempHome with a temporary housing request, either by phone or through our portal, one of our Relocation and/or Hotel Specialists will immediately contact the insured. If long term housing is requested, one of our Relocation Specialists will start the search for housing that same day and present rental options to the homeowner based on the length of repair time as indicated by the adjuster.
Our relocation specialists are available 24-hours per day. We have Spanish-speaking specialists on staff. We will gladly handle pets for both long-term relocations and hotel stays. We will locate pet-friendly hotels and long-term housing when these beloved animals are part of the family.
We immediately contact insureds to identify all requirements (i.e., pets, handicap access, number of rooms, parking, wifi, kitchenette, etc.). The same day that we get a request, we will provide hotel options that are as close as possible to the loss location. Our contracts with major hotel chains result in significant savings, which we pass on to our clients. Our invoices include copies of hotel folios to ensure transparency. We'll present housing rental options to insureds within 24 hours. Along with the appropriate housing, we provide all the necessary furnishings and appliances. TempHome offers compete packages for housewares, furniture and appliances. Of course, we can also secure additional items, like baby essentials (e.g., crib, linens, high chair, changing table), Kosher items, gaming systems, blender, duvet upgrade, rice cooker and much more.
TempHome provides this service for free. We include at least three comparables so adjusters can be confident that our estimates are based on available properties near the loss location. We assign an experienced and dedicated specialist as a single point to contact to service each high net-worth member throughout the relocation process. We even work with interior designers who assist on-site with the staging of the furnishings in the home to ensure that the discerning homeowner is completely satisfied.
You can send us housing requests on-line any time. In addition, our on-line portal (login required) includes numerous features that make it easier for you to work with TempHome. At any time you can log-in to check the status of the housing request, run reports, update information and communicate with TempHome personnel. Our portal also provides special features for managers to access and track the housing requests sent us by the adjusters they oversee.
